Welcome to my unofficial website dedicated to the Isle of Man Fire & Rescue Service.
My name is Justin McMullin. I was a Sub Officer based at the Islands only wholetime station in "Douglas".
Having spent 11 years as an operational Firefighter based on the watch system it was time for a change and I was promoted into the Corporate Services Department where I spent the last 6 years before my resignation. I worked with long time friend and colleague Colin kirkham and we had responsibility for the Brigades fleet of Appliances and vehicles, Communications, Mobile Data, Equipment Procurement and the Brigades fleet workshop.
Prior to becoming wholetime I was a retained firefighter based at Douglas for just over 3 years.
I have had an interest in fire appliances since an early age and have taken thousands of pictures which i hope to share with you here on my website.
